Laurent Masson

Laurent joined Dear Krzewinski & Willez as a partner in November 2013.

Previously, he worked 8 years as a senior associate at Bird & Bird LLP and 5 years as an associate at Loyens & Loeff.

Laurent graduated from the University of Liège and also holds an LL.M in IP law from the University of Brussels (K.U.B./K.U.L.).

Over the years, Laurent has built a broad expertise in intellectual property (IP), information and communications technology (ICT), e-commerce and data protection. His practice includes both the drafting and negotiating of contracts (licensing, outsourcing, consortium,…) as well as dealing with related litigation. Laurent also deals with IP and ICT aspects of M&A transactions. Finally, Laurent advises on commercial law issues, essentially on distribution agreements and unfair trade practices.

Laurent regularly writes on all these topics.

A member of the Brussels bar, Laurent works in French, Dutch and English.
